FACILITIES

We offer exclusive use to our groups!

Situated just 16km's outside of Plettenberg Bay, Ingwe is easily accessible off the N2. Look out for our eye-catching Ingwe sign and turn off onto a gravel road for about 400m to the game fence gates. Just 1.2kms later you will arrive at Ingwe!

A large barn-style wooden Lodge (450m²) elevated above the forest canopy is the area used for mealtimes and as a classroom or workshop area. Wooden tables with benches, an equipped kitchen, cleaning materials and firewood are included in your daily rate. There is ample parking for cars and buses.

Meals and teas can be provided or a self-catering option is available

Using a North American influence in the design of our buildings has allowed non invasive construction by elevating the buildings on stilts to gain optimum advantage of the spectacular views whilst not harming the surrounding plant life. All buildings have been constructed from wood to blend in with the natural environment. Removal of alien vegetation is an on-going process and wherever possible pine, blackwood and black wattle has been used in the construction of the buildings.

A Boma with plenty of seating can be used in the evenings for meals around the fire under the stars or as an outside classroom/meeting area during the day.

The wrap around deck at the Lodge, plus the covered veranda has fantastic views with only the sounds of the birds and tranquility of the forest to surround you. Choose your spot and and soak up the sounds of peace & quiet in a secure & undisturbed environment.

Take a meander along a forested trail to a natural clearing in the indigenous forest, an ideal wedding ceremony area or as an outdoor classroom/meeting area - beautiful and peaceful....
